Puguang Temple

  Puguang Temple in downtown zhangjiajie is a combined sanctuary of Buddhism and Taoism. The buildings represent the architectural styles of the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. There are the Shrine of Sakyamuni Buddha, Martial Art Temple and memorial archways. It is rare in China to have such a religious venue practicing both Buddhism and Taoism and with ancestral shrines, archways and towers.
